Filing a Claim
Experiencing any kind of mechanical breakdown is always a nuisance. The headache of not knowing what to do or who to call is always frustrating.
Here is what to do in the event you experience any problems with your vehicle.
Before any repairs are to be done please contact us at 866-542-2355 to begin the claims and authorizations process. You can file your claim during normal business hours.
Claims department hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 am (EST) TO 6:00 pm (EST).
For all Mechanical Breakdowns that you may experience please follow the guidelines that are outlined in your policy and in your welcome package.
Please use all possible means to protect your vehicle from any further damage. This may require you to stop on the side of the road and call for roadside assistance to have your vehicle towed to your nearest repair facility.
After having your vehicle towed notify Liberty Bell Auto Protect claims department immediately to have coverage. Be sure to only take your vehicle to a licensed repair facility or ASE certified technician. Have the repair facility contact us at 866-542-2355 BEFORE any repairs are to be made.
Authorization from Liberty Bell Auto is strictly required before any claim repairs can begin. Please give a detailed description of your concerns to the repair facility. Once the problem is identified after diagnosis, please have the repair facility contact the claims department to initiate the claim.
For any mechanical breakdown outside of normal business hours, please use our after hours messaging service. You may also consult your welcome package for other after hours instructions for submitting claims.
Disclaimer: Please keep all receipts. This includes car rental charges, lodging, meals and signed service receipts (including dates, mileage, VIN, and vehicle description) as requested by your policy. These receipts will verify that you have met your obligation to keep the vehicle in good maintenance and working condition.
